IKEA Northern beaches : Swedish retail outlet coming.

An IKEA Store will open at Westfield in the northern beaches this year.

Warringah Mall will host Australia’s first IKEA concept Store.

Rather than the massive warehouse setup we’ve all come to know and love, this IKEA Store will be much smaller.

“At Ikea, we know Australians are looking for new and more convenient ways to shop their favourite products,” Ikea Australia country manager Jan Gardberg said.

“We’re excited to be bringing bespoke Ikea shopping experiences to Aussies around the country in locations that suit them.”

“The home panning studio” is just 100square meters and caters to people looking to develop their home interiors in a more boutique fashion.

The IKEA Northern Beaches Store will be the first of 30 to roll out across Australia.

“We’ve now invested in our fulfilment and distribution network (for delivery), that was the key cornerstone we needed to get in place before we started to launch these different formats,” Mr Gardberg said.
